Harley is Very Ill and Needs A Little Help

Harley was found tied to a fence at a school in Atlanta.  The person who found him called the Fulton County Animal Control, who picked up Harley and took him to the shelter.  The person who found Harley then also told one of our supporters, who helps us with adoptions in Milton/Alpharetta. She showed our supporter pictures of Harley. We used some creative thinking, a little Crisco, and a shoe horn to get Harley into our shelter in Blairsville.  YAY! Harley is safe but his story does not end there.

Harley is extremely sick. He is gasping for air, his lungs are filled with fluid and swollen, his temperature is 105.  He needs to remain in the vet hospital for at least 2 days (if not more) where he is receiving antibiotics and fluids.  We never give up trying to help a dog but we are EXTREMELY short on funds. We have been trying not to ask for help but Harley's recovery will cost much more than we can afford or have so we are not only asking we are begging each of our friends and supporters to donate even $1 because if we add them all together we can make a difference for Harley.

If everyone would donate at least $1 we would have more than enough to help Harley heal.  Please, he has a family who wants to adopt him but he can not go home to them until he is 100% well.

Thank-you!
