In reply to our first newsletter, we received this wonderful email: On February 14, 2009 we went to PetSmart and saw 3 little puppies that Castaway had rescued. We were there just to visit, but ended up after three hours adopting the best puppy ever. Before we left the store my son named the little black 10 lb. puppy Rex and what a wonderful addition to our family. Rex is now 2 years old, 28 lbs. and we are so happy that he is a part of our family. Let’s be honest, he is one spoiled little dog. I want to thank Castaway for allowing our family to adopt and love this precious dog. We can’t image our life without him. We encourage other families to adopt a pet through Castaway like we did, you won’t be sorry! Regards, Carol E. and her very happy family
