Wolfy is a 10-year-old male
husky mix who was surrendered by his previous owners when a CCPR worker rescued
him from a chain that was attached to a tree for 3 years. Wolfy is an amazing,
loyal, obedient companion that deserved more then what he was dealt. He was
brought to the shelter in search of a new life, a new family, and a forever
home.
Wolfy is a smart and quick
learner! In the foster home that he was at for a short period of time, he
learned to communicate the "potty".
He will tell you when he needs to go outside and after a short time to
play he will then let you know it's time to go inside. The only time Wolfy has
ever barked indoors is when the usual happens...mailman, garbage man, or
strangers at the door. He is wonderful with other dogs big and small. Even
though he would make a great family member, he is better off with older kids
and adults.
Wolfy loves to play early
in the morning and late afternoons. In between those times, his favorite thing
to do is lie on the front porch and watch life go by. He would also like a long
brisk walk down your favorite nature trail. Two if you're feeling frisky. He
will welcome the challenge. Wolfy is not an apartment dog and would love to
have a fenced yard and a cool place to lounge.
Wolfy wants nothing more
than someone to love him, talk to him with kind words, and spend alone time
together. He has waited so long, with the same dream, that one day he can find
a family that will love him and provide for him. The only thing he doesn't have
yet...a forever home.
Wolfy is current on all
vaccinations and is neutered, heartworm negative, and in great spirits.
