Our mission is to save and nurture homeless dogs and cats, to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes, to foster responsible pet care, to control overpopulation in our community thru spay/neuter programs, and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue group based in Blairsville, Georgia. Operating as a 501(C)3 organization and licensed by the state of Georgia Department of Agriculture.

Strut Your Mutt Across America!

The Strut Your Mutt Across America event is still going strong and currently we are in 2nd place out of 83 teams! CCPR has a Dog Pack of volunteers raising funds to help reduce the number of unaltered animals in Blairsville, GA and the surrounding communities. Our Healthy Kitten / Healthy Puppy project has been a great success and the funds donated will ensure it continues.
