Our mission is to save and nurture homeless dogs and cats, to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes, to foster responsible pet care, to control overpopulation in our community thru spay/neuter programs, and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue group based in Blairsville, Georgia. Operating as a 501(C)3 organization and licensed by the state of Georgia Department of Agriculture.

If you would like to donate items for use at the shelter, we're always in need of:

paper towels
laundry detergent
bleach
dish soap
Lysol floor cleaner
Clorox spray cleaner
canned food
dry food
scoopable litter
milk bones
cat and dog toys

For your convenience, there are Castaway Critters Donation Bins inside the Ingle's stores in Blairsville and Hiawassee.
